Back to reality....

So sorry I didnt check in over the weekend - forum on phone is so hard to navigate - i MUST get an ipad!!!

I have had the BEST 4 days retreating - sorry not rubbing it in - but OMG those of you who didnt come MUST come next year!!!
the venue was great
the food was awesome
the company was fantastic

i only got 19 pages done - and a canvas - but I feel relaxed - rejuvenated and ready to face the next month or two between retreats

Today is 'get the shop back' day.... and there will be HUGE sale too - so watch this space

Grace has a music competition at school today so I will be going to that. In between I have housework, groceries and Playgroup stuff to do. Haven't done any assignments either I have a couple of pages to upload later and another one almost done.

Sale? Oh no! I am NOT supposed to be shopping, but i love a good sale

I have a lunch date with my hubby today He was away last week & i will be away this weekend, so we are lunching as it is my only day off.

Usual housework to be done here I swear it multiplies.

I am back from a busy weekend retreating I had the most wonderful time. I sat with some lovely ladies, was fed beautiful food, had wonderful company and scrapped 23 pages and 1 canvas. HUbby was great with the girls at home, did a few things around the house for me, think the 3 of them are happy I am home though. Today I am catching up with everything, went to woolies this morning for a few bits and pieces, and need to photograph my creations from the weekend.

I know I have said it a few times Peta, but the retreat was great. It is my only retreat for the year, and I really enjoyed it. I have never been to a better retreat, it was great fun. I had a few ladies at the retreat ask me where I lived and I said locally and that it actually felt like I was a million miles away from home- a home away from home. I really appreciated the beautiful location, peace and quiet of the venue, and the home atmosphere

Grace's string ensemble got a gold in their heat - she did so well and is becoming a master at faking when she's unsure. it's a huge thing for her and her anxiety levels to do this as she usually has a huge meltdown and cries or storms off, so proud she can hold it together

a big day here again lol

ourt first function at tafe was today, it went well thankfully
my feet are killling me thought so went and spent some money at the athletes foot on good shoes

the usual run around of kids and tkd
laura and work experience
Logan refused to go to school (thankfully ray is on for two days)
abby went back to the fracture clinic today and took 3 hrs
she is in a splint half cast for 6 to 8 wks - apparently when she over extended her arm her elbow popped out of joint and cracked back into place when she hit the floor and in the mean time ripped all the tendens and muscle around the elbow with still isnt stable from popping out

so back to the fracture clinic in two wks
then after 4 wk it physio for 6 wk s

they informed us it worse that breaking it and takes longer to heal

I am sooo jealous wish i could go on lots of retreats.... hopefully one day I can go to an sfs one.... would be AWESOME!

busy day... working out this morning, then went out with Ashan for lunch {oh and R hehe} had to buy a chopping board - been way too long with a crappy one....

and working on stuff for my next sale.... its crazy already :S
