| I have started a new fitness program today. Sick of feeling & looking like crap. Have the house to myself & feel a little odd. I think it is the first time ever i have been home alone all day. It's a hard gig being a working Mum, Deb. I have been offered i full time job which i turned down as i need to be home to get my kids. They then offered me 5 days a week & i still said no I need a day to change all the sheets, wash uniforms, clean the whole house & hopefully scrap. I feel guilty too, but i have always worked & the juggling gets stressful at times. Hope you all have a fab day | |

| hope all goes well with the new fitness stuff, Cherie
I know the working Mum stuff is hard but I need to get out of the house and do something. For the past 3 years I have had teaching stuff lined up or I could do supply. Now I can't do supply as I just can't rock up at 8.30am like some teachers and then I would have to race off at 3pm to get Kate or organise the bus for her and she's not quite ready for that yet. I told her after camp, which is next week, she can get the bus home Wed which means I can do supply Wed as she has to be at school 7.15am that morning. Just feeling completely worthless and that I'm contributing nothing.

| Deb you are contributing the biggest and best thing to the house - happy & safe environment for your children - thats what being a 'mum' is - it is a job.... and you can have all the money in the world - but if your kids arent happy then really is it all worth it... I am having a real hard time last week and now looking at this week juggling kids & work. As i have to do a set amount of hours and only want to do that in 3 days i am struggling. Im not sure what will give first - the boss having the shits or me just running out of drive!!! I do love my job - but my kids must come first - so really i know what i have to do - i need to get this scrap hobby to replace my wage.... not sure if i can - but im going to give it my best shot! I would rather say no to me kids on somethign that costs too much - than say no to something i cant do with them as i have to work Yes Kate you are right - being a working mum is hard - i dont know how people do it full time Cherie - goodluck with the fitness thing - here if you need a cheer on or a kick up the butt | |

| yes, that all makes sense Peta! Just struggling a little this month with lots of extra expenses and no work since early December. It's frustrating when you apply for jobs and you get no response either. Sorry, just feeling really down about it and puting pressure on myself when I know I am doing the right thing
Tomorrow will be a better day. I will be positive

| So much guilt involved in being a working mum. As Peta said, you are doing the BEST thing for your girls. | |

| Hi girls, This parenting gig is tough. I was back at work today but the kids still had one last day of holidays. Even though they're older I don't like leaving them all day by themselves. But they survived and tomorrow we'll all be cursing the tyranny of the school routine lol. I'm already looking forward to Friday... Deb - I hope you have a better day tomorrow, take it easy on yourself I'm off to scrap! | |
