| No strike here in the ACT - we had that treat last week! Athletics carnival today - my sporty kids are very happy I had to drop my car off this morning and I got the time wrong and arrived half an hour before the place opened - woops Off to a couple of meetings this morning and then the hairdressers this afternoon - heaven! Also hoping to get my scrap on as I've got three sketches to catch up on. | |

| No strike here today (I don't think - DD has left school) but I am thinking about having my own stop work meeting because it is cramping my lifestyle! I am really tired this week - not sure why, just one of those weeks - know what I mean! I have also realised that today is the 8th September so I am now officially 4 days behind - need to stop sitting and staring at the pretty patterned paper pile and actually use some of it! Hope everyone has a fun day - kids or no kids, catch you all tonight | |

| lol ali @ arriving early, sounds like something id do. how was your swimming last night? enjoy your pampering this afternoon! lisa cant wait to see what you create when you catch up what are your plans for the day leonie? hope work goes well shaz! I was going to send heidi to school today because they said there would be teachers there and one of them was to be her teacher, and so i go to drop her off and the gates locked except the staff car park- like they are trying to deter people LOL. i said to heidi do you want me to take you in or do you want to stay at home so she is staying at home. after she had last thursday off sick and then today i dont like this 4 day week she has her book parade tomorrow- it will be a NITEMARE - why are all school events badly organised?! end of rant | |

| Lisa Your own stop work meeting sounds great. Go for it. Kate it is amazing how we get use to having out weekdays to us, and its a bugger when the kids decide to be sick and ruin our peace. lol Tam So happy for you. I'm sure you will find the best way of utilising the respite. I've finished work. Heading over to Petas shop to do some shopping. Then may scrap before my peace and quite is shattered. | |

| That's great news Tam - you'll have to let know how you decide to use it Ooh! Enjoy your parcel Joolz! Kate - my swim was fantastic - hard and fast - and I even did a medley! Can't wait til the outdoor pool opens and I can go twice a week. I did something a bit radical and got blond put in hair today (it took hours, apparently red hair is very hard to colour) - I was pretty impressed with myself and then my 15 year old daughter didn't even notice Luckily my son did and was very admiring. Now that Zoe has realised she is not offering an opinion Good luck with book parade Kate - those things always drove me mad too | |

A new hairdo, you'll have to change your av now and show us all Hope the parade goes well tomorrow Kate. | |
