it's Friday!

boy, this week seems to have dragged on.

I am a bundle of nerves this morning as I have a job interview at 11.30. It is at my optometrists, only 2 full days a week...perfect! I feel pretty confident as the office manager is one of my old bosses from when I worked at Coles.. even though it was 14 years ago, but we have kept in touch. Pretty hard not to in a small country town lol

We have had a fairly dramatic week here with Bush fires and lots of smoke. Thankfully it has been heading the opposite direction and the town is safe. I feel for the families that have had to evacutate, some of them every night. Luckily no houses and lives have been lost But the smoke and ash is everywhere The house has been locked up tight, but it is still managing to get in everywhere I'm glad that we aren't in an older house.

Good luck for the interview. It must be awful for those families having to evacuate.

My three parties are over and all went well. I have 3 days of work left. I was going to go today but my joints are so sore and I am exhausted, so will just do my usual days next week.

Need to grab a few bits from the shops, print photos and clean up this messy house!

took Laura for her first go at her Ls and she is back next tuesday as she panicked
then to have her work shirt altered as its to big
then to big w for her shorts and thongs and sunscreen for work
home and went down town to put forms in at the bank
waiting on 3 phone calls all day
took lunch out to hubby
took abby job hunting
about to go get boys
pick up lauras shirt

and the usual runaround tonight

the interview went pretty good, they are looking for someone who can be flexible and can come in when someone is sick.. on top of the 2 days a week. And they don't need anyone to start until after new year which will be perfect because I am going O/S until mid January... cross your fingers girls!

I would kill for a two day job and flexible days
