Good afternoon ladies. Well my scrapping has come to a standstill due to my printer dying. Wellit hasn't really died but when I print my photos they are coming out with fine lines through them. Done all the cleans possible - I am thinking the print heaad may be buggered. Does anyone have a really good quality printer they would recommend for printing photos??

Mine is a Canon iP4850, I bought it from Betta electrical. It wasn't the dearest one there, I got a really good sales guy who said this one would do just as good a job. And it does! I always print glossy on canon paper - matte just didn't cut it, but glossy is brilliant.

I am really not sure how much it costs to print each print, but I love the convenience of being able to print whatever I want whenever I want - especially when our nearest photo printing place is a 100km round trip!

So far I have only used canon inks, but next time I am trying a generic brand, not sure if this is a good idea or not but will wait and see!

we don't have a decent printer. I go to harvey Norman usually as it is not too far away. I have heard that you do need to use the correct paper for the printer - mm, not sure about ink - to get the best print
