Testing Tuesday

Both my girls have Naplan today, so Grace is a little anxious.
I had a late night finishing an assignment so feeling super tired today. Hope these iron tablets and B 12 injections kick in soon. So sick of feeling this way.

Abby has the naplan today to but has a writer as she still cant use her hand
I have a meeting with Kade school today with the headmistress and councilor about his diognosis
back to high school for a meeting with headmistress for Laura
then to the DT to see how Abby is going

a meeting at the bank as we are going to try for another loan (fingers crossed) they dont seem to like it when a couple only have one job lol

pick boys up from school
home for a quick snack and change then of to soccer practice for LOgan

feel better soon Deb, keep doing what the dr says so at least if it doesnt start improving you can go back and tell him/her that its not working!!

ive been this morning to woolies, and to get my eyebrows waxed- i will never get used to the pain of someone ripping my eyebrow hair out lol. i am such a wuss

started packing my stash for the retreat last night, today i bought some snacky foods. 2 sleeps to go!!

well Kade school meeting went ok but have to go back as the office was broken into last night the little buggers smashed everything they could lay there hands on including files that were loc,ked and glass every where

meeting no. 2 that was a whole different matter and fingers crossed Laura behaves for the rest of the yr and they want her back next yr

meeting no. 3 went great and Abby should be very proud of her self but the one class she is having prob in is the one she is excelling in lol go figure

hello ladies!

just a quick pop in! busy as always! did morning workout... which seems to take ALLLL morning...

then i've done washing, put chilli chicken soup in the slow cooker, baked some oatmeal bikkies....

i'm only now getting a little bit creative, but unfortunately it's already almost time to pick up the kids!!!

Hope to have some creative time tonight, Ashan is at work & hoping I can get R to bed EARLY!

so not happy as Abby came home to inform us they made her do the naplan herselft and with out help
will be ringing the school tomorrow and telling them she wont be doing it

oh Tam, that's awful! I know I had to sign some paperwork for Grace to be able to do hers in a quiet place with extra rest breaks. Thankfully it all seemed to go well for her today and she had a good day.

I dont think she did any of it anyway Deb as she cant use her right hand and isnt left handed so she just sat there and did nothing so will just tell them to take her of it as if there not giving her a writer there isnt any point
I dont like the naplans any way as there not a good example of there ability anyway

I have a few friends as teachers and they dont agree with the Naplan either. I dont really know much about it but will as time goes on with the girls i guess.

we dont have a deposit so need 5% if buying a house in coffs or 30% if buying rural land
as it stands we cant borrow but if we werent renting we could as we have that money to use for the morgage which is silly because we wont be renting if we bought so hence the catch 22 lol

That's shame about the loan, Tam.
Kate, Naplan is really a waste of time as by the time you get the results - Sept/Oct it is too late to use it as a teaching tool. The children have already moved past there.

my problem is they coach the kids for naplan and it isnt a true reflection of what the kids can and cant do
