Mondays Mess

has to be cleaned up!!!

I am so excited my GF is arriving today with her 5yr old twins from Adelaide - but my house is MESS!!!!
So its operation clean up - and we only have 7hrs to do it!!!

would love to sit and scrap for the day but i have a goal to complete first...

So im off to get started
Hope you have a great monday - whether it be PH monday or sending your kids back to school or just another day for you

have fun cleaning, I'll be doing the same once I have dropped the girls at school

first day back today and I feel a bit sad they are going back. Picking Kate up early to go and get fitted for her jacket/blazer for next year
have Kate's October sketch 1/2 done on my desk so aiming to get that finished too

another terrible day weather wise here. Would have liked more sleep last night, this weather makes me tired! LOL. The girls are just having their breakfast, Mick should be home some time this morning from his parents, then he is back to work tomorrow nothing else really planned

It's a gorgeous day here at last

We have no plans other than getting out and enjoying the sunshine.

Just a quiet day here,nothing special.Still overcast so the gardening will wait.

yes, high school for her next year. She got a scholarship to a private school so lots of changes - so exciting but a bit scary as she won't know anyone. At the moment QLD has Year 7 in primary school but there are pilot schools trialling Year 7 moving to high school so she would have gone to the new high school next door to the primary school but was advised it wouldn't be the best choice for her as she is so bright. So hoping we have made the right decision. She is excited and we are proud of her - she sat a test and got the only middle school scholarship.

morning girls

just sent hubby, 3 kids and my nephew of to Ebor trout hatchery fishing

so Im washing while it clear
about to have another cuppa
catching up on programs I have taped (love my new blue ray HD recorder)

have a very annoying 15yr old pestering me and Im about to throttle her

might pop out and see if the nursery is open as I bought some Cactis yesterday and want a terracotta pop and stones to put them in

Not much scrapping for me today - I had fun in the kitchen instead. But I did manage to finish off the layout I started last night and upload to the gallery woohoo.

well the nursery was closed
so have cleaned instead lol

mopped the floors
vacummed
washed and something blue went through white TKD uniforms so not happy

tea is on
and Im all alone

might go close up the house and relax before they arrive home lol

I cleaned out my pantry today - what a major job, found lots of double ups and I won't need to buy lunch bags for a while The girls couldn't believe their eyes when they got home. Hoping to finish off my Oct sketch once the girls go to bed

LOL Deb its funny when that happens, we had the same thing with kitchen sponges recently and once we had about 10 tomato sauces with about 7 unopened lol. but its always when you stop buying it that you do actually run out!
