| Sounds like its a washing day all round. I've done about 4 loads today, 2 of which were all the sheets. With 29 degress thought I would take advantage of the opportunity. Well Kaytie has been sick, so no kinder for her today which meant that Luke couldn't go to creche at the gym and I couldn't go to the gym, so my whole day has been turned upside down She has the runs, so we've been the docs and apparantely its a virus going around at the moment. Its sooooo disappointing for her to get an illness like this as she is already so skinny and can't afford to poop out absolutely everything that goes in!!!!! I had her weighed at the hospital last week and she's still only 14.5kg at 5.5years old and I'm at my wits to try and get weight on her Her thighs are so skinny that her knees pop out and look nobly and her chest is becoming more and more concaved!! I've just booked an appt with a paed, so am going to try and get to the bottom of it. Everytime I try to fatten up her diet she gets the runs, so its a no win situation. Sorry to vent, but feeling really sad about it at the moment and I think its causing me to stall on the scrapping. Anyway, for the rest of the day, I really need to vacuum and mop the floors and then maybe scrap or clean out the laundry cupboard. How exciting going to the Fairy park Leonie!!!!! Beautiful day for it, is that the one near Daylesford? Bugger your DD has the chicken pox first day of the holidays, hope you get to catch up on some scrappin Goodluck with the painting Mal, I've just put another piece of furniture out in the garage to get painted, its a pain in the arse hey, but it looks good when its finished. Welcome back Peta, hope you enjoyed your weekend, but looks like you've hit the ground running, hopefully things settle down for you toinght. | |

| We are so in Sync Leonie, its eerie.
Well i've been to work, had lunch, weighed myself - i've lost 300g, done a tiny bit of Wii exercise. Just catching up here then off to get something for dinner and get kids, then i have to do swimming regos.
Laura its no good your little one being sick. The paed will prob do lots of blood tests, but make sure he checks for coeliac disease. Especially if she is prone to getting the runs.
There is nothing worse than seeing kids being sick!!
Take care! | |

| Laura, I was going to say the same thing as Sharon. Make sure you check for coeliac disease as it sounds like classic symptons. Grace was diagnosed last year and while is in no way underweight (we actually have the opposite problem) the correct diagnosis has made a huge difference for her in many other ways. | |

| Yeh I'm thinking it could possibly be something like that, although her 'dumping' is completely random. She could go weeks of eating pasta etc without any symptoms and then out of the blue she does one?? It will be partially due to the fact that her stomach is decreased from surgery etc, but no matter how much she tries to eat, the weight is so slow going, a constant battle and I'm just so sick of it. She seems happy enough, I'm probably more worried about it than I should? Will see what the dietician says, maybe get a few tips to increase the protein in her diet?? | |
