Today is usually my long day at work - but i think I will just go for school hours today.
Not sure CJ is up to going but I am having to make the hard 'mum vs work' decision and send him with my fingers crossed that he will be fine.... makes me feel sick myself - but I have no other option

I would love to stay home again to day - I got so much done it was great.... but I have to go an earn some money.... more tot he point I have to go and do my job - send these people their wine


Well I might go shower and do lunches & uniforms etc before the kids wake....

Busy day for me today. Just made all the lunches & am about to start on breakfast. Work for me today too, then home to whip up an early dinner before getting the little one's bathed & ready for bed. Then i will need to clean up, shower & be back in town by 7pm for an info night at school regarding electives for yrs 11 & 12. My poor daughter was in tears last night as she feels stressed & pressured about choosing the right electives I hate the pressure kids have on them to be perfect

Hope CJ is ok Peta. It's hard trying to do both. I have to work Thursday and Friday this week and I have been given so many assessment tasks for my class I can't not go so Mum has to have Grace and it feels wrong

Cherie, sounds like a busy day. Hope the meeting goes well.

Off to drop Kate to school for band practice soon, then home to clean up been too busy scrapping and make quiches which I need to drop at school by 1.30pm. I have to get Kate to meet me in the carpark as I can't take Grace in.

Aw Cherie, it's horrible when they're upset and it's beyond your control. Zoe will be making those decisions next year and because we have the college system she has to choose a new school too (not looking forward to that). Thinking of you chickie, hope your busy day goes smoothly.

So far today, I've been out for a walk, taken a photo of yesterday's LO and uploaded it and put the washing on. I've also adjudicated a fight that involved thrown lunchboxes and shouting - oh for a peaceful start to the day. The kids have gone to catch the bus and I really should be getting ready but I'm having a nice quiet coffee instead! Meeting after meeting for me today

Been a little AWOL as my parents have been here, which was lovely. We had a good catch up. They have headed home this morning so time to get into Petas comp.

Peta hope cj is fine today. It is very hard been a working mum, it just pulls at our heart strings sometimes.

Deb i'm presuming Grace has chickenpox, hope she is ok.

Cherie hope the electives decision goes well. I don't think the pressure should be there. Our local school doesn't push them too much which is great. They say it is better to choose subjects they like and are good at. Even if they want to go to uni, there isn't a lot of uni courses that you HAVE to have done a certain subject in highschool.

Ali hope the day stays quiet. I hate it when the kids fight before school.

cherie i hope she will be ok, as long as she feels informed about her options she will get a bit more comfortable. i remember doing it too and it is a hard decision especially when you dont know what you want to do when you leave school.

morning girls, was a bit worried about my car this morning the engine light was on and it was idling really weird when i started it, hope i dont have any problems with it from now onwards took heidi to school then went to mums to do treadmill, then the IGA to for some essentials as i didnt want to go out of town to go to woolies with my car incase it crapped itself on the highway! just had some breakie. lovely day here today, i want to scrap!! have a good one xox
