Thursday - thats it

I have nothing as far as a title... im tired!!
ive been awake on and off with a very sick boy and my cough!!
why is it you can never find the thermometer when you need it in the middle of the night.... i thnk CJs temp was borderline 40 last night....
he was crying with a sore throat and his croup was playing up.... cold washers, panadol and redipred got his temp down and finally some restful sleep...
I am now torn as to what to do.... i MUST go to work.... this is the 1st real week of my new position and I have already missed one day and can only work will 3 today anyway so i am 8hrs short on my week....
I am thinking of leaving Zac home from school to watch Caleb... is that really bad????

the pressure of the working mum is the worst - it pulls on the heart strings way too much...
i'll go have a shower and think about what to do.

oh crap peta....yeah I reckon keep zac at home...if you don't have any neighbours or family or friends that you can leave zac with! yes working mums get it tough!

right well i was up and out early...off to spotlight for some supplies....the usual paint and zig writers....but I have also signed up for Christy Tomlinson She Art course online...http://christytomlinson.typepad.com/christytomlinson/sheartworkshop.html so needed modge podge, canvases, brushes etc...and I also had to buy some bday presents for parties coming up.

first of all though I have a page on my table that needs finishing...then will put paint down on another....then perhaps get started on a canvas.

anything else???? dinner tonight is spaghetti putanesca...what are you having?

No its not a bad thing to leave Zac at home. It is so hard for working mums.
I have had Hayley home looking after lochie before and 1 day i had to leave him by himself - i was really concerned, but the boss was away and i had to do it. Lucky he wasn't really bad sick, recovering from asthma and still just had a bit of a cough.
I also work in town so only a phone call away. He was so cute, i kept getting texts from him saying love you and kiss kiss.

Well i have done 3 loads of washing, cleaned up the lounge and dining rooms ready to vaccum. I am going to have some ME time today scrappin.

just had a quick meeting at school this morning but need to make an appointment to see the Head of the SEP - putting it off because I know nothing will change John finished up his job yesterday and starts his new role on Monday. He's off to the dentist soon and I need to get some shopping done.

well i decide to send zac to school and bring CJ to work with me... he seems okay but not well enough for school.... and lack of sleep.
we are both tired and will leave here soon once i finish off this wrok - just having lunch...

i want to move in with Mal so she can cook for me!!!

im thinking these canvases are adictive so im not sure if i want to start... but im very jeaous of the wonderful art work i have seen so far - i want one!!!

I am going to sign up for that class too Mal, after seeing all the gorgeous creations around the blogs - I think it will be great to learn some new techniques, I have ordered some canvases and stuff, will wait till they arrive....not sure when I think I am going to find time to do this though

had another boring day at the tile shop! now is the mad afternoon of back and forth to dancing classes.....
day off tomorrow but I have to take Brielle to Zone for Cross Country!

well i have the big two at footy & dancing - and the little two doing jobs.... CJ got the wood - Sienna unpacked 'some' of the dishwasher.... team work!!!

well spaghetti putanesca was yummy...and both the girls tried it...and ate parts of it...but won't be doing it again....too rich...and not the thing for kids...even mine who normally eat anything!

well we told the girls and had to explain a few home truthes but they seem happy so time will tell

I weighed myself thios morn first time in ages and am only 3.2 kgs off my first goal. still a long way to go.. but craked that number that i hate so much!!
i havent even been trying really.. just limiting our take away and stopped buying junk. If i have it here i will eat it! if i don't i'd have to go out to get it, and thats too much effort lol
been on the tready on and off.. not religiously. i figure something is better than nothing!

well actuall im very excited as my mum will be here - and its the 1st mothersday in yrs i have spent with her....

hubby is away - so im pretty sure he hasnt given a thoguht to the fact that he should have organised something... so looks like im getting 2 mothersday stall items and a preschool made item....
oh and zac wants me to give him 410 so he can go tot he IGA after school.... i dont remember seeing any fluffy slippers or nice PJS or even a new coffee machine there

the kids have made me cards at school and bought me tickets in the mothersday raffles (with my own $$ lol)
i did want an ipod, but cant really afford one atm. But hubby better give me $$ for my scrapping stuff lol

I went and bought myself a new pair of Peter Alexander PJ's for mothers day, I know better than to wait and see if cayle will get me anything BTW they are very comfy
