freezing cold Saturday

Boy, I think winter is on it's way. It was 5 degrees when I got out of bed this morning

I am not sure what is happening here today as everyone is still asleep, but I think Craig is going to take one of his cars to the show today for the car exhibition. And I have to start thinking about packing for the retreat too, 3 more sleeps until I fly out. CAN.NOT.WAIT!

What are you doing today?

We are off to a slow start but it is going to be a big rush in a minute as Grace has an appointment at 9 and Kate has dancing at 9.15.

Grace is glad to be home after camp although she had a good time! She was happy to sleep in her own bed last night.

Not much on the agenda for today although I really need to go for a walk, clean up my scrap room and the kitchen/dining room.

Not long now until you go Donna. So jealous! No retreats for me this year

today I have washed and cooked and packed bags and ute and trailer
have been grocery shopping
dropped three girls of to the movies
chicken and breadrolls for tea

and will pick up girls later

of to work for the country and city foot ball match tomorrow

Cooler here in Perth, I think Autumn has finally arrived! And about time too - not a big fan of summer!

I was up reasonably early (but not as early as most Saturdays!) and ran at our local parkrun (timed 5km) - not a record for me, but I'm getting close! Stayed & had breakfast after, then home to do a bit of housework - managed to trip over the vacuum hose while trying to grab the puppy & get him outside as he piddled on the carpet in front of me! Landed on my knee which is now sore and bruised.

Spending this afternoon scrapping - have a lot of samples to get organised ready for a craft show here next weekend - no pressure or anything, just a deadline looming! What's ready can go, what's not, won't.

Did I mention we got a new puppy? Picked him up on Thursday - he's a real cutie - border collie, 8 weeks old, named Olly - should be a good companion for our 5 year old border collie x, Barney - when he grows up a bit & isn't quite so annoying LOL!
